This is def one of the best animes I’ve seen in the last few years, I love it so much!
By the say people that brought you Hellsing which you can see in the character designs, animation shift and love of bloodshed this anime hit the ground running. Its so high action but with awesome characters. Its not a clean or safe series def forolder veiwers but its such a hybrid of genres.
Its a mixture of fantasy, history and action. Like maybe you too Hellsing, Arslan, Beserk, Kenshin and Record of Lodoss War and mixed them together. Love the characters, love the fights, love the pacing and politics of the world.
I love how it plays with history and uses the historical figures, that it’s not as simple as good versus bad and the world cam be a messed up place.
Brilliant anime!!!
